Acceptable Use Policy

Effective October 17, 2026 · Operated by Physica Lab

This policy sets out what you may and may not do with Physica Lab. It applies to every part of the service — the experiment library, the sandbox, the courseware, and the AI tutor. It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. The AI tutor: prohibited content

The AI tutor is provided for one purpose only: helping you understand physics — explaining concepts, checking your reasoning, and working through problems in the experiments on this site.

You must not use the AI tutor to generate, request, or attempt to generate:

We filter and monitor tutor inputs and outputs for these categories. Where a request is blocked, the tutor will decline and the attempt is logged.

2. Other prohibited uses

3. Your own content

You keep ownership of anything you create in the sandbox — your parameter sets, your saved configurations, your notes. We do not claim a licence over it beyond what is needed to store it and show it back to you.

4. Enforcement

Where we find a breach of this policy we may, depending on severity:

We aim to tell you what happened and why, except where doing so would compromise an investigation or where the law prevents it.

5. Reporting

If you find content on this site that breaches this policy, or you believe your own work has been republished here without permission, write to us at the address below with enough detail for us to locate it. We respond to reports within two business days.

6. Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and material changes are announced on the site before they take effect.
